Bamboo Activated Carbon

What is Activated Bamboo Bio char?
Bamboo charcoal is typically made from the mature bamboo plants and burned in ovens at temperatures ranging from 600 to 1200 °C.

Bamboo Bio char is a carbon-rich, fine-grained residue which can be produced either by ancient techniques (such as covering burning biomass with soil and allowing it to smoulder) or state-of-the-art modern biomass gasification / pyrolysis processes. Combustion and decomposition of woody biomass and agricultural residues results in the emission of a large amount of carbon dioxide, where as Gasification / pyrolysis of such biomass would convert it to Bio char which when applied to soil can store this CO2 in the soil leading to reduction in GHGs emission and enhancement of soil fertility.
Bio char holds the promise to tackle chronic human development issues like hunger and food insecurity, low agricultural productivity and soil depletion, deforestation and biodiversity loss, energy poverty, water pollution, air pollution and climate change.
Bamboo takes only five years from seedling to mature plant, it will be readily available for all future generations. With proper care, your bamboo charcoal product can last up to one year. After this, and because it is a 100% natural product, it can be recycled into the ecosystem.
